During the first week in February, The Franklin Park Conservatory is exhibiting “Sacrifice + bliss”–plastic debris art by Aurora Robson–during special extended evening hours, when the sculptures and installations will be illuminated. In addition, the concurrent orchid show includes hundreds of orchids (including, apparently, an orchid chandelier, plus the ones that look like monkeys, aliens, and creatures from Little Shop of Horrors). Bright blossoms, warm air, repurposed trash: just what I need during a grey Ohio winter.
